» PLOT «
Warner can't believe it. He lost her, Juliette. She was here, and now she was gone. With his father breathing down his neck, Warner struggles with his emotions and his duty.

I don't have much different to add or say, but I did really like this novella and though I'm not sure if I'll continue this series ever, this novella was a great reminder of a great love story.

Not much happens in this book, but that is expected with novellas.

» READABILITY «
This was short, fast paced, and very easy to read.

» CHARACTERS «
This is only a short novella, so the characters are few and far between, but I enjoyed the insight we got into Warner.

» WRITING «
Tahereh Mafi's writing is to die for. It is literally so easy to devour and enjoy.

» OVERALL «
I bumped the star rating up, simply because I can't really think of anything bad.

I love a different perspective, and this delivered. This novella was not essential to the story, thus the average Plot rating, but it is a novella and shouldn't include anything that would contribute to the plot too much to the point where you have to read the novella to continue with the original series.

The novella added more depth to the story without changing too much. The look into Warner's head made his much more likeable than he already was, and I think that this novella was a successful addition to the main storyline.
