The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene
3.0
Interesting and materialistic.
I’m blown away with all the historical anecdotes! Most of them I actually had never heard of. Greene is a great author in taking real-life events and stories to illustrate his view on seduction. I don’t see this book as a true ‘psychology’ one since it doesn’t give the readers different perspectives but more like an in-depth strategy to mentally manipulate someone. It also devalues the concept of love to me when the author draws a clear boundary of love (‘seducer’ and ‘victim’). It's a good read for plain pleasure, though.
One big thing I got after reading this book: To make someone stay under your spell, never stop being a charming seducer.
