Wow, at times not easy to read but... mesmerizing.
At times I feel the bias I have, I notice that most of the story plays and is played by chinese. But hey, the author is chinese! It is not different with Zola, Mulish or Allende... right?
The book also ends with an adventurous ant. Beautifully it ends with putting love at the centre.
5 stars easily.
