Sarum: The Novel of England by Edward Rutherfurd
3.0
Good effort. Might have gone with three and a half, but not four. I liked the overall concept of a historical epic about England the prose was good, the pacing better than I expected, and the overall study in characters intermingling worked.
At times the book worked more like a grouping of novellas, with a common settling and theme, than one story. This detracted at times, but kept the book goingat other times. New York was better, and I'm hoping that London will be more focused.
