I’m DNFing this at 42%. It’s not *bad*, just not exactly what I’d expected. I was intrigued by the premise but underwhelmed by where the it went and how everything unfolded. Also felt the characters were under developed and fell rather flat for me. Kind of a yawn. Maybe I’ll pick it back up another time when I don’t have a huge list of books I really wanna read waiting for me. At the point where I stopped, I’d probably give it 3 stars.
