I normally steer away from anything historical fiction but then I saw the word dystopian and here we are.

I am so glad I gave this an honest chance baybee it wasn’t what I thought it would be at all.   When I tell you this was a beautiful work of fiction.  The storytelling, the inter-connectedness of our two main characters centuries apart- chef’s kiss.

The world building, character development and nods to issues affecting the current political climate were done extremely well and with intention.
