Finally!

This took me forever to get through..

I like her music. I'm definitely not a LAMB though.. the fact that I found out that is the nickname for her fans proves it.

Her rags to riches story had a lot of drama.. and she came through the rain *winks*

I cannot imagine being locked up in your life especially at the tender age that she was.

I can however to a certain extent resonate wifh the race thing. People never seem to pinpoint my race - honestly people, just speak goddamn English.

They usually speak in fake accents when they think I'm white or they speak whatever dialects or other languages that they deem befitting of the race they assume me to be.

It took me a while to be comfy in my own skin when people were to ask so what people are you to which my snarky reply is I'm more of a person than you...though most times, they look at me stupid.

Anyway, back to Mariah.. her story was/is interesting but it was a lot of drama to deal with. Her constant defence of Glitter (not that I watched it) made me roll eyes - usually that's when I'll ponder whether to watch it. I am just so glad she managed to redeem herself with Precious.

Great, talented musician. The fact that she wrote almost all her hits and finally found comfort in being herself (I assume so) is always the best gift anyone can give themselves.
