Writing about a book I read years ago is always complicated, even more so doing a review because let's be honest, some books don't age well, there are topics that aren't dealt with in the best way, or maybe the feelings that the book provoked in us have changed for the better or worse. In this case it is quite the opposite and I can fully say that LEAD is still one of my favorite books of my teenage self and my adult self that /what was it to say that/.
When I started the saga I always thought that Mal's book would be my favorite of the entire series but while reading Play I realized that it wasn't and I thought well then it will be Ben /it's the fourth/ but then something happened, and they were small if not minimal a moment that changed everything for me in this series and that's when I realized that my favorite of the entire series would be Jimmy's book because, well, for Lena.
Don't get me wrong, she was one of the main reasons why I said okay, let's read it, let's try to read it in English, which didn't come out well, but the moments I understood gave me life and gladdened my heart without a doubt.
The story begins a few days after the last book /they can be read individually without problems/ and shows us a situation that makes Lena question how much she can continue to be of help to Jimmy where the limits are and how it can affect him so my queen decides to make the best decision for her which is to quit once Jimmy finds out about this and the real reason behind it tells him not to quit if it's a job he likes so He decides to put a plan in motion to eliminate Lena's feelings towards him /I clarify that he only has Lena's POV/ the situation is complicated when Lena realizes the depth of her feelings towards Jimmy and the little value he gives to these . Then it's the end.
Lie is not.
I have to say that I completely finished the saga a few years ago and the reason for following it was these two I had hopes with Ben's book but honestly my heart had already been stolen by Jimmy & Lena and there was no way it would change and my god the surprise that take me in the book Ben gave me years of life as well.
Seeing how Jimmy's character grew, matured and learned from his mistakes is one of the nicest things I can say as a reader, just as his story only got better in the other books, it's fascinating.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS OF ALL TIME.

Escribir acerca de un libro que leí hace años siempre es complicado más aun hacer una reseña porque seamos sinceros algunos libros no envejecen bien hay temas que no se tratan de la mejor manera o puede que los sentimientos que el libro provocaba en nosotros haya cambiado para mejor o peor. En este caso es todo lo contrario y puedo decir plenamente que LEAD sigue siendo uno de mis libros favoritos de mi yo adolescente y mi yo adulta que /que fuete decir eso/.
Cuando comencé la saga siempre pensé que el libro de Mal seria mi favorito de toda la serie pero mientras leía Play me di cuenta que no y pensé bueno entonces será Ben /es el cuarto/ pero luego algo paso, y fueron pequeños sino es que mínimo un momento que cambio todo para mi en esta serie y ahí fue cuando me di cuenta que mi favorito de toda la serie seria el libro de Jimmy porque, bueno por Lena.
No me mal entiendan, ella fue una de las razones principales por las que dije bien vamos a leerlo tratemos de leer en ingles que no salió bien eh de decir pero que los momentos que entendí me dieron vida y alegraron mi corazón sin ninguna duda.
La historia comienza unos días después del ultimo libro /se pueden leer de manera individual sin problemas/ y nos muestra una situación que pone en duda a Lena acerca de que tanto puede seguir siendo de ayuda para Jimmy en donde se encuentran los limites y como lo puede afectar a él por lo tanto mi reina decide tomar la mejor decisión para ella que es renunciar una vez que Jimmy se entera de esto y la verdadera razón que hay detrás de ello le dice que no renuncie si es un trabajo que le gusta así que decide poner un plan en marcha para eliminar los sentimientos de Lena hacia él /aclaro solo tiene el POV de Lena/ la situación se complica cuando Lena se da cuenta de la profundidad de sus sentimientos hacia Jimmy y el poco valor que él le da a estos. Entonces es el final.
Mentira no lo es.
Tengo que decir que completamente termine la saga hace unos años y la razón de seguirla fueron estos dos tenia esperanzas con el libro de Ben pero sinceramente mi corazón ya lo había robado Jimmy & Lena y no había manera de que cambiara y dios mío la sorpresa que me lleve en el libro de Ben me dio años de vida así.
Ver como el personaje de Jimmy creció, maduro y aprendió de sus errores es una de las cosas más lindas que puedo decir como lectora así como su historia solo mejoro en los demás libros es fascinante.
