Heartless Havoc is the story of Julian, an arrogant man who's anti-love and pro-power and control, and Frankie, the feisty spitfire who manages to get under Julian's skin. Frankie is a likeable character from the start, but Julian...our boy takes some getting used to, but he eventually grows on you. He definitely wasn't doing himself any favors with the way he was treating Frankie at first, but the end result is so worth all the push and pull that goes on. The story fits in well with the rest of the C. Heroes world, and the cameos from some series favorites are great! J.L. Leslie excels at writing romance, so it didn't surprise me one bit that I couldn't put this down once I started reading.
