La profecía del cuervo by Maggie Stiefvater
5.0
Absolutely amazing.
It's fair to say that I was extremely hesitant before picking this up. I've read two other books by this author and it was a bad experience after a bad experience, so I just thought Stiefvater wasn't for me and that it was time to part ways. But when The Rainbow Book Club decided that this was going to be our book of the month I had to put my reservations on hold and just read it quickly and get it over.
Boy, was I surprised when I was hooked after reading only one page! For me, the story got interesting right away. I did find myself struggling understanding some things, because the vocabulary was a little bit more complicated that what I'm used to, so I switch to the spanish version and I could concentrate a lot better.
As I said, I enjoyed the story from the very first page and never got bored. When the characters I was familiar with (because tumblr has no chill when it comes to The Raven Boys), I just knew I was going to fall in love. I can't believe how much I love almost every single character in this book! My favorites are Ronan and Noah because how can you not love them? but everyone is special and unique in this book.
The plot is completely amazing, I love the fantasy and the mysteries and the way we found out about things. After I finished, I came to the conclusion that anything was a coincidence, Maggie Stiefvater knew exactly what she was doing and you can tell that a lot of planning went into this.
Five stars without a doubt.
I can't wait to start reading the second book ☺
