I found this to be a wholly compelling read. Having not known of Joan of Arc, except the most basic of premises, I found this to be profoundly interesting and well researched text. I found myself in awe of Joan, she is a powerful figure with so much passion. Parts of the book were almost magnetic and I read pages and pages at a time.
