Crimson River by Devney Perry
4.0
Thank you to Valentine PR and Devney Perry for providing me with a review copy in exchange of my honest review!
Devney Perry has been one of my favorite authors for long time now and she keeps coming back with better and better books.
Crimson River is the fifth book in latest series, The Edens. The series follows a The Eden siblings as they find love in their small town of Quincy, Montana. Crimson River follows Lyla Eden, the owner of the quiet Eden Cafe. She’s married to her job and has seen almost all of her siblings falling in love. Tragedy strikes when Lyla is attacked by a unknown man while hiking and manages to escape. A couple of days later , a mysterious new man appears in her cafe asking her about her attacker. And things get stranger and stranger by the minute.
Crimson River was one of my most anticipated books this year and it didn’t disappoint. The Edens series has always had a little twist of suspense threaded in the books and it’s one of the many thing that kept me hooked to each book and with this book the author goes a little further than usual.
I loved it and was so interested into solving this case. As always, Devney’s books are romance, steam and a interesting plot that will definitely want to make you devour Crimson River in a second. Although I can see some readers that might not love it, especially because of the thriller part of the book being a tad stronger this time. But if it’s something you like or are interest in trying, then this is the perfect start!
