I love these books! Charlotte used to live in Hope Lake until her mother left with her when she was 10. She hasn't been back since and when she arrives in town she is shocked at how cute and nice it is. She also forgot her friends and oh my heart hurt for Henry. You can tell how much he cares for Charlotte, but he can't do a temporary thing with her. He already got his heartbroken when she left the first time and he doesn't want to do that again, but there is just this connection between the two of them.

Charlotte could be a bit...frustrating at times, but it all works out in the end. A cute read and I can't wait for the next book!
