Sommerboken by Tove Jansson

It's sweet, innocent, and makes me want to be alone on an island, enjoying the magic of nature.

The book is suitable for adults and children, as it highlights relations, nature, discoveries, creativity, openness, discussions and feelings. The language gives it a mellow mood, a bit sad but still with a tuch of true happiness. The connection between Sophia and her grandmother is the cornerstone of the story, and that alone is worth the read.

A perfect book to read through the summer.
