Blue Pills: A Positive Love Story by Frederik Peeters

This graphic novel was absolutely beautiful. Yes, it was informative and answered a lot of questions I didn't know I had about HIV, but the biggest impact the narrative had on me was to make me really understand that someone with AIDS needs to deal with a lot of things but are still capable of having a normal life and healthy relationships.
Personally, I've been dealing with similar feelings, wanting to be "normal", people's ignorance toward a medical condition, medicines, collateral efects, self doubt, fear. I know that it's not the same, but I felt related to this characters, I felt comforted.
This story showed me that there will always be people out there with love enough. People that care for you and want to deal with your shit because they think you're worth the effort. I didn't knew how much I needed this right now.
