*Because this is a second in a series, I will be keeping this review short. I don’t like giving away parts of a book before you read it!*

Captivate by Carrie Jones wasn’t as good as the first in the series, Need. With that being said, I don’t think that it was bad. I feel like this was kind of the filler book before the real exciting part begins in the third and soon to be released, fourth books.

I am finally warming up to the main character, Zara, and I like how the book ended. It wasn’t a total cliff-hanger, but it left me wanting to know what is going to happen next. I am starting to like the pixie and human conflict, as well as some pixies being good and some being bad. This makes it interesting as well as the hinting of a love triangle between Zara, Nick, and Astley. I am hoping that this will appear in the next book! (I am liking Astley, myself. Hehe.)

Overall, if you have read the first book in the Need series, than I definitely recommend reading this next installment!
