I decided to read this book after watching the first movie on Netflix and learning that a second one was coming out. I was so drawn into Lara Jean's life and love story. I think that what she had with either Peter or John Ambrose was what I always wanted to high school-a whirlwind love story, with a twinge of drama. I loved Peter standing up for Lara Jean and hated how he wouldn't just tell her what was going on with Gen- even something simple to let her know that it wasn't anything romantic. Then again, high schoolers aren't always the most thoughtful. Part of me wanted more for Lara Jean and John Ambrose and part of me wanted Peter and Lara Jean forever.
