The Quiet Tenant by Clémence Michallon

3.0

I enjoyed my time in this book and it was a fun popcorn read. I’m not going to remember it in five days and the characters were boring.

If you’re going to write women in 3 different points of view from different aspects of a serial killer’s life, make them memorable and unique. They all kind of blended together.

I think I just like a little more oomph when it comes to the stories of women surrounding serial killers.

Comp titles I gave 5 stars to:

- Notes on an Execution by Danya Kukafka (has the serial killer as a POV as well)
- Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey (this one does have a bit more of a supernatural element)
- Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll (based on a well known serial killer, but leans into more true crime)
