i enjoyed this! i think i had a lot of trouble getting into it at first and it was kind of slow for me. but once we learned a little more about what was going on inside the house i started to enjoy it! i really liked sylvia moreno-garcia’s writing style and i’m interested in picking up some of her other stuff! i just think the reason i didn’t love this book is very much about me—i’m in a reading slump and am finding most everything to be not as enjoyable this month. but i would recommend it to others!! still enjoyed it, but not a new favorite or anything
