The book was more about cults than the language associated with them. I had fun initially but as the book went on, I did get exhausted. I felt like it could have been way shorter than it was. The only reason I pushed through and finished it was because it has been on my to-read for the longest time.

If you feel interested in the book's content but do not want to read it, try Amanda Montell and Isa Medina's podcast, ''Sounds Like a Cult''. I would recommend that over this book any day.
