A Wolf at the Table by Augusten Burroughs

5.0

This book is dark, heavy, intense, and all those other adjectives. Burroughs' writing is always raw but this book is even more so. Parts are absolutely horrifying and while the connection between his childhood traumas and his struggles in adulthood are clear, it proves that one can survive such a life. In that way, I found it inspiring.
