Dancing at the Pity Party by Tyler Feder

emotional funny hopeful inspiring reflective fast-paced

4.5

This is a wonderful book to read for anyone. If they have experienced a loss, they will relate. If they have not, they will have a better understanding of people with losses.

Tyler Feder did such a wonderful job of sharing a blunt and authentic experience of losing her mother to cancer, but with their soft and warm illustration, everything feels better at the end of the day.

I mark this as a good grief book comparable to Crying in Hmart by Michelle Zauner: similar stories, totally different style of storytelling, both superb.
