Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes
4.0
Catherine is a young British girl, enjoying life, going out with her friends and partying. One night, a bouncer at a club, Lee, notices her, and they start dating. Lee seems perfect, he is gorgeous and he is madly in love with Catherine. However, Catherine starts to get antsy when Lee becomes possessive of her and quite aggressive.
Fast forward 5 years and Catherine (now called Cathy) is terrified, she has OCD, and she doesn't go out. In fact, all her friends are gone. She has a new neighbor, Stuart, who befriends her.
The story is told between her time with Lee, and then 5 years later. This is a story of an obsession by Lee towards Catherine, and her fight to survive.
Some of the scenes are quite graphic and heartbreaking.
