I was very excited when my preordered audiobook popped into my library, and I was totally justified to be. A Tempest at Sea is a closed circle mystery on a ship. Lady Sherlock is in disguise while eluding Moriarity. I hate giving much detail on mystery novels because I prefer going in with as little information as possible. Many characters from previous novels are on board, some to back up Charlotte, some to cause chaos. The mystery is good and twisty, the writing is good, and Charlotte is funny and smart and enigmatic.
Kate Reading’s narration is very good. She gets Charlotte, Olivia and Mrs. Watson especially well. She adds to the book and the experience very well.
It is a great addition to the series. Now I wait for the next book.
