This audiobook was really engaging for a genre I don’t usually read. The exploration of indigenous culture was woven in organically. I didn’t find myself caring about the mystery a lot though and some of those elements felt a bit one dimensional. I also didn’t love that the relationship was between an 18 yo and 22 yo with a problematic power dynamic so I couldn’t root for them at all.
