Actual rating: 3.5/5 stars.

This was a cool start to a new, modern Buffy series! Overall, I enjoyed it, but some of the characterizations felt off to me. Cordelia, especially, felt like a completely different character than what she was at the beginning of the show. But the art was nice and it’s interesting to see a remix of the story! I’ll be interested to see where it goes from here.
