100 Selected Poems by E.E. Cummings

5.0

i think i read a review or an essay about cummings a few years ago where the person writing said, "people either hate cummings, or love him" and that's about as accurate as that can be, i think. the same platitude has been repeated for quite a few people but it really holds true for this dude. anyway, i don't understand all his poems, because i don't really understand a lot of poetry, but his words always make me feel good, make me think. i love his words.

there's this line i won't be forgetting for a while now,
"children building this snowman out of rain" and, "nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands."
