Sweet Little Lies by Caz Frear

3.0

(3.5) This was a fluid and quick read with plenty to like. The first-person narration by Cat Kinsella was breezy and snarky which was different from what I'm used to, but I did like getting to know this flawed woman and her family background. This also gives us a very full account on the end of a case, as opposed to Vera where we find out whodunit and why and the book ends. It reminds me of a combination of Blood and No Offence (shows on Acorn TV), in a good way. I'll be starting the 2nd book tonight and we'll see how that goes!
