This one got better as it went. Definitely felt like an introduction to something greater while still being a solid story in and of itself.

- Excellent characters
- Solid worldbuilding and engaging plot
- At times it felt like Cook was writing an epic fantasy, at others it felt like a very thorough outline of an epic fantasy. Very thin on detail.
