• great concept, but i found the execution mediocre in literary terms
• needed more clues and hints; didn’t know it was a mystery until half way through
• the ‘big reveal’ was spelled out for us on the cover in actual words, not very mysterious
• repetitive writing style (“like” was used way too often, not even colloquially, it was used in bland cliche similes)
• simple, buts that all it was made for; not all books are built to be complicated, some are just made to exist
