so thankful I picked this up on a whim...I've been craving a new historical fiction series, but I never guessed that it would be ADULT fiction, not YA. so thankful I gave it a shot, though, because I'm very excited to read the rest of this series once I get my hands on them. literally all the characters are amazing, and there were some twists that I didn't see coming! always a win when a mystery makes me think.
