The Ring and the Crown by Melissa de la Cruz
5.0
Actual rating 4.5
It's been a while since I've read a book by Melissa de la Cruz (too long of a while) and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed this book and was glad it was keeping my attention. Lately I've found myself reading but my brain's drifting off and thinking of other things but that wasn't the case with this book, instead I was finding myself thinking about this book when I wasn't reading it and wishing that I was. It was kind of slow paced, nothing real exciting or monumental happened and sometimes I felt like certain things were skipped over. But I loved the characters and found myself growing attached to one I initially thought I wasn't going to like.
And as usual I had to ship a ship that would cause me heartache, what else is new.
