First attempt // October 2013: I disliked it at first, then I started liking it, and now I dislike it again. Surprisingly I like the language, but I don't like the character. I'm 60 page in and I still can't see what the plot will be, if there is one, besides Holden being expelled from Pencey. I personally don't see why everyone says this book is genius, and that's coming from a teenager who should be able to relate to Holden completely. So I'm done. Maybe one day I'll try again, but not anytime in the near future.

Second attempt // August 2014: oh my god I can't do it. I got to chapter 20 and ughhhg noo I quit I'm done! I'll finish it one day but it won't be for a while

Third attempt // November 2014: oh my god I finally finished this. I hated every second of it, thank god it's done!
