Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson

4.5

An intriguing sequel to AGGGTM. Pip's podcast detailing her experience solving recent crimes (from the first book) has gone viral, yet she is determined to leave her investigative inclinations behind her. When someone close to her goes missing, however, she is forced to reconsider.

It's interesting seeing Pip evolve more into herself this book. She is consistently at war between triumph and grief, truth and deception, and caution and recklessness. She makes some choices I might not have made, but each one leads her in a direction that shapes both herself and her investigation. This story, especially with some of the reveals at the end, definitely appeals to my true crime fascinations! It feels like there is significantly more language used in this book, but overall I really enjoyed it!
