A weak 3.

This was labeled a "humorous romantic mystery" and some reviewers said it was a "frolicking good time". Were we reading the same book? Abused women, violent ex-husands, revenge murders? Hardly the stuff of comedies. It was not a heavy read, but I also didn't think it was hilarious either.

I liked it enough, but I think some of the author's other works are better.
