A satisfying denouement to Emily and Wendell’s tale.
The voice of this installment felt somewhat less vibrant to me (rushed, perhaps?) than the previous two, but it wasn’t enough of a difference to distract me from the exciting throes of the narrative—I couldn’t put the book down! Emily continues to be the heroine you can’t help but root for; Wendell an absolute charmer; and Shadow and Orga remain perfect companions.
