This was amazing! Gonzalez winds together a fictionalised retelling of artist Ana Mendieta’s life and death with that of a Puerto Rican Art History student at Brown. The story is fast-paced and gripping and the characters are fleshed-out and fascinating. Highly, highly recommend the audiobook as all of the emotion and energy of this book really comes to life with the various narrators.
