this book is severely overhyped. i enjoyed the ending and absolutely loved characters like rocky + the overall concept, but the rest kind of just fell flat for me....not the biggest fan of the humor and there were some parts that were just pages and pages of scientific jargon (and while i love hard sci-fi, there comes a point where it's too excessive that it detracts from the main story). i really wanted to love it but :( not my favorite.
