Wanted to love this book. It has all the tropes I’m looking for but in the end all I was left with were unnecessary side stories, 1000 extra characters and a villain with the personality of a wet rag. Over 400pages when even 200 would have worked better. Got to 66% and couldn’t continue. Gave it an extra star because the MFC was bad ass and should have carried the whole book with out any male.
