The Perfect Daughter by D.J. Palmer

dark emotional mysterious tense fast-paced

4.0

I went in blind, folks! And boy did it pay off! I had no idea what to expect with this plot (and sidenote: I think from now on I’m going in blind on most books!).

What happens when someone is living in your closet and crawl space for years, and you have no idea? Murder! This was such an interesting book involving a retired therapist (which I loved) and a family with lots of dysfunction. While the plot was quite simple and straight to the point, I just really enjoyed the creepiness the plot gave when it comes to having someone living in your house and you have no idea. Eek!
