don't click this if you plan to read the book bc i promise it won't be as fun:

this was a pretty straightforward mystery until chapter 16. from that point on things get scarier, wayyyy more intense, VERY dark, and overall just !!!! i was enjoying the book, but the part from there to the end really went next level. sometimes in life, you have to let those tonal shifts sneak up and bodyslam you.

ok moving on i love these characters sm! lil is v determined and it's fun watching her act like an Adult more than the actual adults. nedly is like,,,, semi-himbo vibes i guess if he wasn't tiny
