I loved the groveling/second chance romance energy, and Dom and Alessandra were fun to get to know after seeing glimpses in the previous books!! I haven’t read a groveling trope before but now I’m a major fan. The conflict was a little lazy and anti-climactic in that it was predictable but also missed a great opportunity for intensity and external threat. The writing in some places was a bit over-zealous, and there were a few minor errors here and there. The spice was great but honestly wouldn’t have minded if there was a bit more sprinkled in there lol Ana Huang just does such a great job with it. Anyways, overall a good read but kinda mid?
