This is a bit of a love-it-or-hate-it read, and I suspect the fault line for this one lies where love for the world and the colorful gods starts overcoming (understandable) annoyance with the looseness of the plot and relative lack of protagonist agency. Obviously, I'm on the "love it" end; this is one of the strongest urban fantasy premises I have ever read, and it's so magically realized in this book, in true Gaiman fashion
