The Sleeper and the Spindle by Neil Gaiman

4.0

A fairytale inspired story that you could read or listen to over a lunch break or two. It draws on elements from Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, but throws in some weird, creepy and wonderful details that one comes to expect from Neil Gaiman stories.

A not particularly satisfying ending though.

I’d recommend the audio which is a dramatised version, with sound effects and full cast. It also only runs for an hour. I picked up through the library’s audio app, borrowbox.
