I bought this on a whim in Canada, as it was very cheap and centred on an author in NYC and I was later headed to NYC myself.

I decided to read it in NYC and it was truly magical, both for all its references to this beautiful city, but also as the ideas in this novel on time and human existence in this world are truly memorable. So many parts of this novel will stick with me but especially the story Noor tells our main character was the most intense piece of fiction I read this year.
