Beyond the Point by Claire Gibson

4.0

Three young women who have been recruited to play basketball for West Point become friends. Each girl is different and yet their current experience brings them together. Each faces their own challenges: health, looking for love in all the wrong places, and even death. This book was written in 2006, but it's interesting to read again in light of current events in Afghanistan.

I enjoyed this book but I can see that it might contain triggers for anybody who has served in Afghanistan or Iraq.
