The Ghosts of Paris by Tara Moss
3.0
Billie Walker is hired to find a missing advertising man so his wife can move on where her life. Unfortunately, he was last hear hear from 2 years previously when he was working in Paris. Billie's client willing pays for her and Sam to travel across the world, not an easy thing to do in 1947. Once in Europe she has to confront her recent past, in the form of her case of catching a Nazi in Australia, and her missing husband, who disappeared in 1944 in Poland.
As much as I wanted to enjoy this I felt it dragged and was drawn out too much and in places repetitive. A simple conversation between two people could take ages with very little being said. I prefer short sharp dialogue but that is sorely missing from this.
The ending was also rather abrupt and not very pleasing. It could have bee so much more.
