I picked this up due to the poem in the back, since I constantly swing between despair and optimism a whole lot and it was one of the most comforting books I’ve read in a long while.
It reminded me of Rupi Kaur and Robert M. Drake in their open rawness.
It’s not an easy read, but you feel a hell of a lot better after reading it. Sort of like cauterising a wound that needs it.
