The story starts with a dying promise. A promise to love again. Jack is such a likable character. You mourn with him. You wish, hope and dream that he will wake up and start living again.

Lilly is adorable. You will root for her all the way through the book.

Both characters are well developed. The book has depth and emotion as well as a plot that will keep you engaged. I truly enjoy hurt/comfort books and the D/s is not on the extreme side. I also, love that the book is set in Boston. I went to BU and the talk about the bars and Fenway just makes me happy.

If you want an interesting hurt/comfort book with some D/s thrown in for a side this book is for you.
