i think the writing was lovely but sometimes a bit difficult to get through. the romance was sweet and slipped between sub plot and main plot in a way i liked. i wouldn’t call it a romance but idek if i could describe it at all. i loved graham i thought he was so charming and sweet and endearing and this “sly cat” thing he did did a lot for me. the last like third of the book in terms of time travel and actual plot w the ministry i was so completely confused that it lost any of its merit of having action or intensity because i was just confused
